One side of the resort has a large variety of water and land activities, a kids club and the spa to keep you entertained and relaxed. At the other end, the Nirvana wing is considered a haven within the hotel which offers a secluded retreat for couples only and has its own reception, pool bar, infinity pool and intimate beach area overlooking the turquoise lagoon.

The 67 rooms in the Nirvana area are stylish and technologically superior. A variety of 'extras' are on offer which includes complimentary all-day tea and coffee, soft drinks and canapes in pool bar area and private lounge, private breakfast restaurant and terrace, plasma TV in rooms, complimentary unlimited high-speed Internet, private infinity pool and private beach area. Children under 16 years are not permitted.

The hotel offers guests an array of sophisticated dining options in a variety of settings throughout the resort, from the cuisine of Italy or Latin America to more leisurely tropical fare. The hotel also offers various meal plans, including half-board, full plan, and all-inclusive.

The hotel offers games such volleyball and beach football as well as activities such as water-skiing and water polo; and excursions that range from glass-bottom boat tours to snorkelling.

The Asian-inspired Explore Spa and Fitness Centre features saunas and steam rooms, massage rooms, aerobic facilities and a gymnasium with a range of exercise equipment.

Le Meridien Ile Maurice has a great choice of exceptional restaurants and bars where enthusiastic staff are attentive and eager to serve you a variety of cuisines.

180 Degrees is the resorts buffet restaurant. It's open for an excellent Intercontinental Breakfast from 7:00 am until 10:30 am every morning and the exciting Daily Theme Buffet Dinner at 7 until 10:30 pm each evening. You can see the chefs preparing your meal in the open kitchen and enjoy the sumptuous buffets featuring exotic local fare and wide-ranging international cuisine.

La Faya serves an elegant combination of timeless Mediterranean gastronomy and edgy Mauritian cuisine. This chic beachfront restaurant features the finest, carefully selected wines and cocktails to add the perfect flavour to your meal. Open for a la carte lunch and dinner to all guests and exclusively reserved for Nirvana guests at breakfast.

Cumin is a smart poolside restaurant and is open daily from 7 pm until 10:30 pm for dinner. The menu features authentic Indian fine cuisine, with gourmet presentations and a tropical ambience.

Offering light salads, small plates or 'tapas,' and grilled delicacies, Shells serves elegant and intimate seafood meals set against the wave-battered sands at lunch and dinner.

From 3 pm until Midnight head to The Bayview Bar for cocktails, local Rum, Coffee, Beverages and live entertainment. Le Bois Cheri is the main bar and opens all day from 8 am. There is also a pool bar and snack cafe.
