Stick your flag in the sand for beach service or relax in one of the daybeds in the beautiful rockery garden by the lazy river and order icy cocktails from the friendly water waiter.

The recently refurbished rooms feature fine detailing complemented by traditional Caribbean style. As the focus here is on reconnecting with your partner, you won't find any intrusions such as televisions. Premium Gardenview Rooms offer a tranquil setting while the gingerbread-style Beachfront Cottages are located right on the sand. For incredible sea views opt for the spacious split-level Luxury Beachfront Suite.

Pull up a driftwood chair and sink your toes in the sand at the new Malabar Beach Club which sits under a giant sail and serves light dishes with ingredients from the local market.Chefs at both restaurants can cater for guests with food allergies.

Swim up to the Pool Bar for refreshing drinks during the day and relax in rattan sofas overlooking the ocean at the laid back Terrace Bar which is a popular spot for coffee, afternoon tea and cocktails. If you're not ready to end your evening after dinner then head to the lively Champagne Bar which offers nightly tastings and stays open until the last guest leaves.

Restaurants & Bars

The Terrace Restaurant is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Meals are served buffet style in this lovely open-air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

To get even closer to the water, dining on the boardwalk is ideal. Evening dining is characterized by a nightly theme including the ever-popular Beach Barbeque and Caribbean theme nights. Dress is elegantly casual.

For those very special nights, The Thyme Restaurant, the air-conditioned fine dining restaurant, provides an elegant alternative, with a French classic à la Carte menu that changes every three nights over a two-week cycle. The silverware, crystal glassware, damask linen, fine service and the solo guitarist singing in the background all add to the romantic experience.

Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers and shirts with collars. Open six nights a week from 7:00 pm with the last sitting at 9:00 pm, reservations are required

You can now also dine at the newly launched Malabar Beach Club offering a unique, intimate dining experience with views overlooking the Caribbean Sea. You can now enjoy dinner under an open sail, with furniture made from the local Samaan Tree and drift wood.

The a la carte restaurant offers light cuisine, using local island ingredients and fresh produce from the local market. With a capacity for up to 40 guests, Malabar can accommodate parties of two, four or eight.

There are two bars at Rendezvous. The Terrace Bar offers local favourites and premium brand drinks and overlooks the sea. Whilst the Pool Bar opens from 9:00 am until sunset with its swim up bar serving a full range of cocktails to those around the pool and on the beach. Drink service extends to the beach and the lounge chair. One just has to place the red flag in the sand and a beach waiter will assist!
