Located 70 kilometres south west of Male in North Ari Atoll, Kandolhu is an idyllic Maldives hotel. For a small and intimate island, Kandolhu offers plenty of ways to wine, dine and be merry. You have a choice of five à la carte restaurants, a bar, beach dining experiences as well as in-villa dining options available, creating an experience so memorable that it will stay with you forever.

Airport Hosts will greet you on arrival, check you in for your seaplane and escort you to the dedicated Lounge to relax with refreshments whilst you wait for your flight. Soon you will embark on your 25 minute seaplane ride that offers an unforgettable bird's eye view en route to the island.

At the seaplane platform, you will be met by the Guest Services team for a quick 10 minutes speed boat ride to Kandolhu Maldives

Activities

Kandolhu offers many different ways to spend your day. There is no shortage of exhilarating adventures throughout white sand beaches and beneath the azure waters. From dabbling in water sports or communing with marine life on a scuba dive or having a close encounter with a whale shark during a snorkelling trip.

A wide range of non-motorised water sports are offered on Kandolhu ranging from windsurf, stand-up paddle board, catamaran sailing, sail boat, kayaks and glass-bottomed kayaks. All of these are offered to Kandolhu guests on a complimentary basis by prior reservation. Sailing, excursions, and windsurf and sailing lessons are also available at extra charge

Kandolhu house reef offers one of the best snorkeling experiences in this part of the country. Easily accessible from the surface, the house reef is set right around the island providing for hours of snorkeling adventures. Kandolhu offers complimentary snorkeling gear for all its guests. Additional trips are also organised to other nearby reefs on a regular basis at extra charge.

Varu, meaning 'energy' in the local language Dhivehi, forms the basis of every living soul, creating emotional responses and movement, when this energy is unbalanced or met with resistance due to stress, it can leave us feeling anxious and fatigued.

Vilu Bar

A Maldives beach bar where you can relax whilst enjoying tropical fresh juices and fabulous cocktails. Vilu Bar also offers a few special events on a monthly basis, such as movie nights on the beach and Full Moon Cocktail gatherings
