Yes, as Tradewinds Travel Company we are a fully bonded UK Tour Operator under ATOL Licence 11706 so your holiday is fully financially protected. We are licensed to sell Flight Only, Single Contract Package and Multi Contract Package holidays although we choose not to sell Flight Only bookings. We have no need to be an ABTA member as we are a Tour Operator and not a Travel Agent. ABTA is purely for Travel Agents, not Tour Operators.
At the time of booking you will be asked to make a payment. If it is outside of 8 weeks of departure it will usually be just a deposit payment - but in some cases the flights may need to be paid for if it is a low cost carrier such as Easyjet or Jet2 , in which case it will be the deposit amount plus the cost of the flights. The balance is usually due about 8 weeks prior to departure. If departure date is within 8 weeks of booking then full payment must be made at the time of booking. In some cases there may be a situation where you are booking an immediate payment and non-refundable hotel (this will be displayed) and full payment will have to be made on this no matter how far ahead the travel date is
We accept Bank Transfers and Visa, Mastercard and American Express personal Card payments - we do not accept Corporate Cards. Card payments are not accepted within 7 days of a payment deadline except when making the initial booking on a deposit only basis. If the booking is within 28 days of travel then we will only accept cleared funds - in this case a Bank Transfer
These are available for download in your Manage Booking section approximately 14 days before your departure date. Scheduled airline flight tickets are issued about 4-6 weeks before departure and these will be uploaded as soon as they are issued. For low cost carriers, such as Easyjet and Jet2, the flight tickets will be available within 24 hours of booking and paying
Yes we can. We are predominantly a Tour Operator that specialises in adult only holidays for couples, singles or groups of friends, and our selection of hotels reflects that. However some hotels we offer do allow children and, if that is the case, we will be able to book a family holiday for you. Please keep in mind that the type of hotels we offer are not those that would have waterparks and kids clubs in general so it may not be suitable - it is worth reading the hotel descriptions carefully. We do not make any bookings for infants under 2 years old
No. We sell what we offer on the site. If you have a particular hotel or destination in mind that is not on our site, with dates, then we will be happy to obtain a quote for you based on that. Please keep in mind that we are not a Travel Agency but a Tour Operator and thus we specialise in what we sell with all the knowledge that this entails for our products
Yes we are. We 100% support protecting the precious environment in particular - the oceans, rainforests, jungles and wildife around the world from destruction and pollution. We are also supportive of the need to sustain local people in tourist destinations with income from responsible tourism.
