Located in the northern part of the fishing village of Matemwe, Sunshine Marine Lodge makes an ideal holiday destination for those seeking relaxation along with adventurous nature sports such as diving and snorkeling. Featuring 3 swimming pools, a dive centre and a bar restaurant, Sunshine Marine Lodge is situated on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Atoll, in the wild and unspoiled bush, far away from busy city life. The Lodge is located 55 km from Stone Town and 60 km from Zanzibar International Airport. Located just in front of Mnemba Island, the lodge is a 20-minute drive from Matemwe.

The private, eco-friendly bungalow rooms have views to the beautiful gardens or the breathtaking Indian Ocean, with direct access to the sea breeze, excellent airflow is used wisely by econdition with the presence of at least three fans per room which recycle the air and keep the accommodation cool.

Every room features a balcony, mosquito nets, fans and tea & coffee making facilities. The ensuite bathrooms are equipped with a shower.

Balanced public and private spaces with ample open air offer relaxation alongside adventures. With a heightened focus on the art of yoga, the Body & Mind Harmony Centre offers space to practise or take a class. Every guest can find their inner peace and practice mindfulness or relax by one of the pools.

There is a wooden jetty leading down to the beach at low tide and to the sea at high tide. Diving and snorkeling is provided by the lodge at Dive Point Zanzibar. The Lodge also offers free bike tours for guests.

Sunshine Marine Lodge also offers their guests access to a beach area on Sunshine Bay, the sister property. This private beach features a restaurant, bar as well as umbrellas and sun lounges. Guests can take a complementary shuttle there multiple times per day.

Guests can enjoy local and international cuisine at the restaurant and drinks at the Boat Bar. There are several lounge areas and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
